About Me
One day I was sitting in my office at my corporate job talking to my coworker about her life, family, etc. She began to leave, and with her hand on the doorknob she turned to me and said “You know, you really should be a therapist.” When she had gone, I sat with what she had said and realized that holding space for people to share themselves and their troubles was something I had been doing all my life, and that it came naturally to me. Not long after I registered for the JFK University Master’s of Holistic Counseling Psychology program. I graduated from JFK in 2018 and have been working with clients since 2017.
Everyone needs a space to be completely themselves without judgement or pretense. My office is a judgement free zone! I’m sex positive, LGBTQI, poly, and kink friendly.
With my background in holistic therapy, I offer every client unconditional acceptance and love. Authenticity is a big part of getting therapy right. I also know that one of the best indicators of therapy success is finding the best fit therapist for a client. That means it's vital for you to have a sense of who I am, and that the old model of the therapist being "invisible" is not going to help you do that. I don’t believe in old fashioned clinical relationships where the therapist is supposed to remain an enigma, and I may at some point share some of my own experiences if I feel that it could be in service to you. I identify myself in ways that are personal, genuine, and still respectful and committed to all of the ways that therapy is all about YOU.
